Nicholas Cook is a qualified Solicitor and Notary Public and was a founding partner in Wollastons (now Birketts) a leading commercial law firm, where he headed the Commercial Property department. This included licenced property work. Other external roles included being a National Council member of the Institute of Directors for a decade and Chairman of the Essex IoD, as well as being a Board member of the Essex, Kent and East Sussex LEP.
